Ipswich’s waterfront tells a story that stretches back over 1,300 years - a story of trade, community, craftsmanship and connection to the wider world. At Ipswich Maritime Trust, we work to keep that story alive.
From our Window Museum on the Waterfront to our talks, events, and education programmes, we help people of all ages discover and feel proud of Ipswich’s rich maritime heritage. We also support the future of that heritage - offering bursaries to young people pursuing maritime careers and championing the preservation of historic vessels and waterways.
More than 35 years ago, we helped spark the transformation of the Wet Dock into the vibrant Waterfront we know today. With your support, we can continue to protect its past - and inspire its future.
