This project formed part of our yearlong Heritage Harbour initiative funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund and delivered by Ipswich Maritime Trust. IMT launched a countywide call to find wooden boats built in Suffolk. Our aim being to create a register of surviving locally built boats - and thanks to the wonderful response, there will be an online register in the near future.​
